Workplace Health and Safety Reps

To be effective in our fight for Safe Working Conditions we need people in every work place to act as Advisors and Watchdogs on Health and Safety issues. You can get full training and support from UNISON as well as paid time off from your Employer to carry out your UNISON Role.

Worker’s Memorial Day – 28th April 2008.
Remember the dead, fight for the living.

On 28 April each year, Trade Unions around the world take action to remember all those who have been killed, injured or had their health destroyed by their work. Workers also renew their commitment to fight for better standards at work.
