Pay 2008, after a second day of Strike Action, CoSLA returned to the negotiating table in October. A new offer of 3% for 2008 and then 2.5% for 2009 as our new pay deal. (Rather than a 1 year offer of 2.5%) We are asking our UNISON Members what they wish to do next? Please note a Full Postal Ballot took place in Scotland on this offer. 51.15% Accepted. From the following options, here are the results... 1. Accept this new offer. (38%) 2. Reject this new offer and have another Strike Day. (14%) 3. Reject this new offer and have a further 2 Days of Strike Action. (20%) 4. Reject this new offer and extend the Strike Action to Selective Groups of Staff. (23%) 5. I prefer not to vote as I did not Strike on the Industrial Action Days in August and September. (5%) |
