UNISON asked your opinion on "UNISON 13 Week Rule" in January 2008.

"The member must be in membership of the union for at least 13 weeks prior to the member knowing that he/she had the need of legal assistance and seeks legal assistance from the Union"

This rule is regularly debated at nationally and local levels and we now are asking for your opinions on the rule.  Some find this rule somewhat strict and others find it fair.
